2017 TNSLL Season Underway

A new season has arrived in the Three Nations Senior Lacrosse League. Four teams are ready to battle for a league championship and berth to the 2017 Presidents Cup. Tyendinaga Thunderbirds are the defending league champion.

2017 TNSLL teams

  • Caughnawaga Indians
  • Kanehsatake Warriors (provisional basis)
  • Snake Island Muskies
  • St. Regis Braves
  • Tyendinaga Thunderbirds

A new team will be on the league calendar this summer; Kanehsatake Warriors are joining the league on a one-year provisional status. Kanehsatake will play a limited schedule and are not eligible for the league playoffs.

Leading the Warriors is Kevin Nelson, who also guided a Kanehsatake team in the First Nations Junior B Lacrosse League in 2015. Follow the team on Twitter at @KanehsatakeLax.

Two teams from the Quebec Senior Lacrosse League will also be included on the TNSLL schedule this year. Capital Region Axemen and Kahnawake Mohawks will play a crossover schedule as well as the Quebec spot in at Presidents Cup.
