The Midwest Cities Lacrosse Conference (MCLC) regular season has ended and the post-season tournament bracket is set. Eight of the 11 clubs will participate in the tournament which will be played at Community Park in South Barrington, IL. Regular season winner Minnesota Premium (6-0-0) and Cincinnati (1-2-1) were unable to compete this weekend while Columbus (3-1-0) were ineligible due to a forfeit during the season.
Minnesota Lakers (5-1-0) are the top seed in the tournament and will face eight-seed Motor City (2-2-0) in the quarterfinals. The Lakers lone blemish in the regular season was a 14-6 loss to Minnesota Premium on June 1.
East Division winner Pittsburgh LC (3-1-0) is the second-seed and will face Chitown (2-4-0). Third-seeded Windy City (3-3-0) opens against Minneapolis (1-4-1) while fourth-seed Cleveland (2-2-0) plays Chicago (3-3-0).
