First-place Oshweken Demons (6-0) will host the Durham TurfDogs (1-5) on Saturday night at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena. Durham are in need of a victory if they hope to clinch the fourth playoff spot, a tough task against the undefeated Demons. Ohsweken are the top scoring team in CLax, averaging just under 20 goals per game, while Durham is scoring just over 10 goals a game.
CLax Week 6 Preview
Week 6 of the Canadian Lacrosse League features just two games on the schedule, both with important playoff implications. On Friday night, Niagara Lock Monsters (4-2) will face the SouthWest Cyclops Lacrosse Club (2-3) in what could be a playoff semifinal preview. A Cyclops victory could put them in position to end up in second place at seasons end. The two teams will face off again next week at Seymour-Hannah Sports Centre to close the regular season for the Lock Monsters.
